Child safety standards

Peachy has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This page sets out the standards we hold ourselves to, how to report a concern, and what we do when we receive one. It applies to every part of Peachy — conversations, Slices, Meet and profiles — on every platform we ship.

Peachy is not for children

You must be at least 13 years old to use Peachy, or older where your country sets a higher minimum age of digital consent. This is stated in our Terms of Service, and our Privacy Policy explains that we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under that age. Where we learn that an account belongs to someone below the minimum age, we remove it.

Peachy is rated for teens and older, and is not designed for, marketed to, or targeted at children.

What is prohibited

The following are banned outright, and an account that engages in any of them is removed without warning:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), in any form, whether photographic, drawn, animated or computer-generated.
• Sexualising a minor in text, images, video or profile content, including in a private conversation.
• Grooming, solicitation, sextortion, or any attempt to arrange sexual contact with a minor.
• Trafficking a minor, or advertising, soliciting or facilitating any of the above.
• Using Peachy to link to, request, or distribute CSAE material hosted anywhere else.

How to report a concern

In the app. You can report a person or a specific piece of content from anywhere you can see it — from a profile, from a post in Slices, or from a conversation’s info screen. Reports come directly to us. When the concern involves a child, say so in the description; those reports are moved to the front of the queue.

By email. Write to childsafety@pchy.app, which reaches the person responsible for child safety at Peachy. You do not need a Peachy account to use it, and you do not need to be the person affected. If you would rather use our general address, support@pchy.app reaches the same team.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. In the United States you can also report to the NCMEC CyberTipline; elsewhere, to your national hotline or police.

What we do when we receive a report

• We review it. Reports naming a child safety concern are prioritised above all other moderation work.
• We remove the content and the account. Confirmed CSAE means immediate removal of the material and permanent termination of the account, along with any other account we can attribute to the same person.
• We report it to the authorities. Apparent child sexual abuse material is referred to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), and to the relevant regional or national authority where we are required to report, in line with the law that applies to us.
• We preserve the evidence. We retain the relevant material and account records as the law requires so that an investigation is possible, even where the account has been deleted.

Prevention

• Meet is 18+. The surface that introduces you to people you don’t know requires a date of birth, is refused to anyone under 18, and is opt-in — you are not in it unless you chose to be. A birth date cannot be edited once it is set, so an account cannot age itself into the pool.
• Nobody can search for a person by age. Age is used only to match two people who have each set an age range for themselves, and a profile carries a person’s age rather than their birthday. Slices, our public space, is a place to post about a subject, not a directory of people to browse.
• Blocking is available everywhere reporting is. A blocked person is hidden both ways: nothing they send or post reaches you, and nothing of yours reaches them. Everyone you have blocked is listed under You › Settings › Blocked accounts.
• Our acceptable use rules in the Terms of Service prohibit harassment and unlawful content, and we enforce them by removing accounts.

For regulators, authorities, platform partners and researchers, the designated point of contact for Peachy’s child safety practices and compliance is childsafety@pchy.app. We respond to lawful requests from law enforcement about child safety matters.
